Provides deeply personal firsthand accounts from individuals who have survived violent relationships and moved forward to lead fulfilling lives. The narratives contain more depth and breadth than case studies, capturing each survivor’s story from early childhood traumatic events to present-day survival tactics used to cope with everyday life.
Lee Rosen is an associate professor of sociology at The College of Central Florida. He holds a B.S. in business administration from Bowling Green State University, an M.A. in college teaching and political science/sociology from the University of South Florida, and an M.L.A. in social and political thought from the University of South Florida.
