This volume of the series ARENA2036 compiles the outcome of the 2nd Stuttgart Conference on Automotive Production (SCAP2022).



Niklas Kiefl works as a research coordinator at the Research Campus ARENA2036 and Head of SCAP2022. He is responsible for the coordination of different research projects, the partner network, and the continuous optimization of the research infrastructure. He received his M.Sc. degree in advanced computer science from the University of Applied Sciences of Kempten. Before joining ARENA2036 in 2021, he worked as a research associate at the Research Centre Allgäu and the Technology Transfer Center of Kaufbeuren. 

Frederik Wulle is a research coordinator at the Research Campus ARENA2036. He had previously conducted research as a scientist at the Institute for Control Engineering of Machine Tools and Manufacturing Units of the University of Stuttgart where he developed methods for award-winning multi-axis additive manufacturing applications. In 2022, he defended his phd thesis successfully with the topic of the load-oriented multi-axis 3D printing.

Daniel Holder isa research coordinator at the Research Campus ARENA2036 and head of the group of precision machining at the IFSW of the University of Stuttgart. He received his M.Sc. degree in industrial engineering from the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg in 2016. He is currently working on his doctoral thesis at the IFSW of the University of Stuttgart and has conducted research in the field of depth-controlled laser micromachining and micromachining with high-power ultrafast lasers. His topical focus as a research coordinator at the ARENA2036 is the mobility and production of the future.

Dr. Clemens Ackermann is the deputy managing director of the Research Campus ARENA2036. He received his doctorate from Northwestern University in 2017, taught at the University of Oregon, Northwestern University, the University of Tübingen, the University of Stuttgart, and the University of Applies Sciences in Reutlingen. Before joining ARENA2036, he worked as program coordinator at the University of Tübingen.
