He also contributed to the fans' fund to save the club from folding in the 1990s. Pat's previously published titles include Marshall Arts the best-selling autobiography of West Indies cricket legend Malcolm Marshall and Tackles Like a Ferret the autobiography of Premier League winning ex-England footballer Paul Parker.
