Summa Cum Laude in Computer Sciences from the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (UTAD) in the field and subject of information security and secure operating systems. He is an Expert Accredited by the European Commission on R&I projects in the Horizon 2020, COSME, and CEF programs in information technologies. He is a TED, IEEE, Websummit, and CNN Portugal Keynote Speaker, CEO & Founder of NRMC.PT. Since 2022, he has been the Chief-Editor of ARIS2 - Advanced Research on Information Systems Security, an International Journal, and Director of LAPI2S - Laboratory of Privacy and Information Systems Security. Maria Manuela Cruz-Cunha is a Full Professor in the School of Technology at the Polytechnic Institute of Cavado and Ave, Portugal. She holds a Dipl. Eng. (5 years) in the field of Systems and Informatics Engineering, an M.Sci. in the field of Computer Integrated Manufacturing, a Dr.Sci in of Production Systems Engineering and Habilitation in Informatics Engineering. She teaches subjects related with Information Systems, Information Technologies and Organizational Models to undergraduate and post-graduate studies. She has authored and edited 28 books and her work appears in 200 papers published in journals, book chapters and conference proceedings.
