The twenty-four interviews collected in Conversations with Sarah Schulman, roughly a fifth of those that exist, have enabled Schulman to expound upon her distinctive fusion of art and social commitment. These interviews provide full evidence of Schulman’s value as a pivotal player in the intellectual life of her time.
