Greek epics are the basis for the first speculations that link societies all along the Mediterranean coast. This book strives to distinguish reality from myth in the pursuit of a bond of certainty between the data provided by historical, literary and archaeological sources.
Juan Manuel Garrido-Anguita studied Humanities at the University of Córdoba, Spain, gaining his doctorate in 2016. He has been a visiting scholar in Italy, Malta, and Portugal. He is currently a member of research group HUM-262 (Regional Government of Andalusia). He has organized several academic conferences and international meetings and is an experienced archaeologist.
