Mahmoud Hawamdeh is a professional with expertise in project management, instructional technology, digital learning, and training. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Education and Instructional Technology. Currently, Dr. Hawamdeh serves as the Director of the Continuing Education Center at Al-Quds Open University in Palestine, where he oversees the planning and implementation of a wide range of professional lifelong learning programs. Previously, he played a key role as the Director of the Center of Digital Learning at the same university, leading the establishment of the Center and implementing innovative digital learning strategies. In addition to his administrative roles, Dr. Hawamdeh is a part-time faculty member at Arab American University of Palestine (AAUP) and Palestine Ahliya University, where he teaches courses at the Master of Innovation in Education and Education Technology at the Faculty of Graduate Study and supervises Master's theses. A respected expert in his field, Dr. Hawamdeh has spoken at various national and international forums and webinars, including the 7th National Forum: Innovation and Future Skills organized by the Higher Council for Innovation & Excellence (HCIE) and the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (ACET). He has also coordinated and worked on several impactful projects, such as the Action Research on E-learning in Palestinian Schools Project, funded by the Belgian development agency, and the Virtual Reality as an Innovative and Immersive Learning Tools for HEIs in Palestine, funded by Erasmus+.
