Muḥīṭ al-tavārīkh is a valuable source for the study of late seventeenth-century Central Asian history, historiography, and language.

She has published a number of articles and books, including "Persian Orthography" (2009). and “The Usage of Singular Verbs for Inanimate Plural Subjects in Persian,” in Orientalia Suecana LVI (Uppsala, 2007).
