Omschrijving

This book accumulates the most recent advancements in the field of bioengineering regarding hybrid science named nanobiotechnology and enriches the readers with vast and comprehensive knowledge about different biomedical applications of nanomaterials.

Dr. Rabia Javed is a nanobiotechnologist currently doing a post-doc at Memorial University of Newfoundland, Grenfell Campus, Canada (2022-present). She received her Ph.D. degree from Quaid-i-Azam University, Pakistan (2013-2017), and her post-doc fellowship from China Medical University, China (2019-2021). Dr. Javed has experience working as a visiting researcher in the Plant Tissue Culture Lab in Turkey (2015-2016) during the period of the Ph.D. program. She has been an assistant professor at the National University of Medical Sciences, Pakistan (2018-2019). Dr. Javed has expertise in the multidisciplinary areas of nanomedicine, medicinal plant biotechnology, and surface functionalization.

Dr. Jen-Tsung Chen is a professor of cell biology at the National University of Kaohsiung in Taiwan. He also teaches genomics, proteomics, plant physiology, and plant biotechnology. Dr. Chen’s research interests include bioactive compounds, chromatography techniques, plant molecular biology, plant biotechnology, bioinformatics, and systems pharmacology. He is an active editor of academic books and journals to advance the exploration of multidisciplinary knowledge involving plant physiology, plant biotechnology, nanotechnology, ethnopharmacology, and systems biology. He serves as an editorial board member and a guest editor in reputed journals Dr. Chen published books in collaboration with international publishers and he is handling book projects for some more international publishers on diverse topics such as drug discovery, herbal medicine, medicinal biotechnology, nanotechnology, bioengineering, plant functional genomics, plant speed breeding, and CRISPR-based plant genome editing. Dr. Chen has been included in the World's Top 2% Scientists 2023 by Stanford University.

Dr. Ali Talha Khalil works at the Department of Pathology, Lady Reading Hospital, Peshawar. His research interest is to use diverse nanotechnological, bioengineering, and biochemical approaches to answer various healthcare and industry-related problems, nanomaterials, nanocomposites, nanomedicines, nanocoatings, graphene materials, environmental applications of nanomaterials, medicinal plants, health sciences, biosecurity, health security, molecular biology, biosecurity, and DURC.
