MARK THOMSON writes and performs his street poetry at poetry slams and festivals, including The Wickerman Festival, with other like-minded poets, bringing music and poetry together. He began writing after completing a Hilltown Horizons literary course, where he met other Dundonian poets Kevin McCabe and Gary Robertson. Together he and Robertson formed street poetry partnership Tribal Tongues. He now leads creative writing courses himself and runs national literacy organisation workshops. His students have included children from the Barnardo's organisation.
